Molen gets RSC Men's Golfer of the Week for Midway (Ky.)
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Midway (Ky.) University senior Will Molen was the conference medalist and thus was named River States Conference Men's Golfer of the Week presented by Brown & Brown Insurance for April 11-17.
Molen, from Frankfort, Ky., placed first of 59 players in the field to win RSC medalist honors. He won by four strokes with rounds of 70-73-75 over 54 holes. His wire-to-wire win led Midway to the team championship, its second title in a row.
Molen's tournament total of 218 was 5-over par on the par-71 course. The tounament was played a Belterra Golf Course in Florence, Ind. Molen also earned a spot on the All-RSC First Team.
