Jones selected RSC Women's Golfer of the Week from IU Kokomo
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Indiana University Kokomo grad student Brandi Jones earned a victory to pick up River States Conference Women's Golfer of the Week presented by Brown & Brown Insurance for April 11-17.
Jones, from Peru Indiana, won first place at the IU East Spring Invitational. She bested the field of 41 golfers with rounds of 81 and 78. That won by two shots over second place and notched her 11th career victory.
The venue of Forest Hills Country was par 73. Jones had a 5-over effort in the final 18 holes to win. She led the field with 22 pars.
