Callaghan gets RSC Baseball Pitcher of the Week for IU Kokomo
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Indiana University Kokomo left-hander Owen Callaghan threw a gem to pick up River States Conference Baseball Pitcher of the Week presented by Brown & Brown Insurance for April 11-17.
Callaghan, from Fishers, Ind., allowed just one run and one hit in 8.0 innings of a 9-1 win over Brescia (Ky.). Callagan struck out 12 and walked three in the victory, which increased his team-high total to six wins on the year.
