IU East's Goncalves wins RSC Men's Tennis Player of the Week
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Indiana University East senior Moises Goncalves won all of his matches on the week to claim River States Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Week presented by Brown & Brown Insurance for March 28-April 3.
The Puerto Ordaz, Venezuela, native led the Red Wolves to a 2-0 record on the week with team wins over IU Southeast, 4-0, and Midway, 7-0. That improved the Red Wolves to 3-0 RSC.
Goncalves was 2-0 at No. 5 singles a win of 6-1, 6-0 versus IU Southeast and 6-1, 6-1 versus Midway. He won both of his matchups at No. 3 doubles with a 6-2 triumph versus IU Southeast and 6-3 versus Midway.
