Price picked as RSC Volleyball Attacker of the Week
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Makayla Price from Indiana University East was selected as the River States Conference Volleyball Attacker of the Week presented by Brown & Brown Insurance for her play Aug. 22-28.
The sophomore pin hitter amassed 83 kills in the Red Wolves' first eight matches. IU East has started off the year 6-2. The award this week is for all matches played to date this season.
Price put up five matches of double-digit kills in that span with highs of 16 kills and a .583 percentage in a win over Indiana Northwest. Price has averaged 3.07 kills per set along with 1.33 digs.
