Miller gets RSC Men's Golfer of the Week from IU East
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Jake Miller from Indiana University East shot rounds of 69 and 68 to earn River States Conference Men's Golfer of the Week presented by Brown & Brown Insurance for Sept. 5-11.
Miller, a junior from Richmond, Ind., won the IU East Invitational with that effort. After opening up with a score of 3-under, he went even lower at 4-under for the final round. That gave him a four-shot victory in a field of 50 golfers. IU East was second of nine teams in the standings.
