Beard chosen RSC Women's Golfer of the Week from Midway
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Midway (Ky.) University senior Sydnee Beard earned River States Conference Women's Golfer of the Week presented by Brown & Brown Insurance for Sept. 5-11.
Beard, from Campbellsville, Ky., placed first at the IU East Invitational to begin the year. She beat the field of 52 golfers and led the Eagles to the team title with rounds of 80 and 76. She was down by three after the first round but came back to win by a stroke.
