Smith named RSC Volleyball Defender of the Week for third time from IU Kokomo
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- For the third time in a row, Alyvia Smith from Indiana University Kokomo was named River States Conference Volleyball Defender of the Week presented by Brown & Brown Insurance for Sept. 5-11.
The junior libero from Muncie, Ind., put up another 86 digs in four matches on the week for an average of 5.38 digs per set. She also added nine assists and six service aces on the week.
Smith had two matches of over 20 digs including a high of 28 in a win over Grace. She had 17 digs in a win over (RV) Bethel on their own court.
