Garcia picks up RSC Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Point Park (Pa.) University goalkeeper Eduard Garcia was selected River States Conference Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week presented by Brown & Brown Insurance for Sept. 19-25.
A freshman from Saint Celoni, Spain, Garcia did not allow a goal during his time played as part of two wins for the Pioneers. He covered a total of 121 minutes across wins of 8-0 over Carlow and 9-1 over Ohio Christian to get the victory each time. He made a save in each game, which had the Pioneers use three goalkeepers apiece.
