Huntzinger claims RSC Volleyball Setter of the Week for Rio Grande
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- University of Rio Grande (Ohio) sophomore Avey Huntzinger was chosen as River States Conference Volleyball Setter of the Week presented by Brown & Brown Insurance for Aug. 29-Sept. 4.
Huntzinger averaged 10.50 assists per set in leading Rio Grande to a 2-2 home weekend. She amassed 189 assists and 46 digs on the week. That was for an average of 2.56 digs per set.
Huntzinger posted three double-doubles of assists and digs, including 59 assists and 16 digs in a loss to WVU Tech. She also had 46 assists and 10 digs in a win over Shawnee State.
