Schechter wins RSC Women's Golfer of the Week
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Payton Schechter from Midway (Ky.) University won medalist honors at the RSC Women's Golf Fall Preview to earn River States Conference Women's Golfer of the Week for Sept. 25-Oct. 1.
A senior from Fishers, Ind., Schechter led the Eagles to the team title as well. She shot rounds of 78 and 80 to win the tournament by seven shots over the other 53 players. That propelled Midway to the team win by 20 strokes.
