McClanahan named RSC Volleyball Setter of the Week
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Julia McClanahan from WVU Tech earned River States Conference Volleyball Setter of the Week for Sept. 25-Oct. 1.
McClanahan, a senior from Charleston, W.Va., led the Golden Bears to a 3-0 week, all within RSC action. She totaled 116 assists for 9.67 per set and also added totals of 10 kills, 21 digs and six aces on the week.
McClanahan had 37 assists and six digs in a 3-1 win over Shawnee State (Ohio). She then had a double-double of 44 assists, 13 digs, five aces and four kills in a five-setter over Oakland City (Ind.). She finished up with 35 assists in a sweep of Brescia (Ky.).
