Miles picks up RSC Softball Pitcher of the Week
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Courtney Miles from WVU Tech was selected River States Conference Softball Pitcher of the Week presented by Brown & Brown Insurance for her peformance Feb. 13-19.
The senior from Winchester, Ky., threw a two-hitter in her only outing of the week, a 12-0 win over St. Andrews. Miles went all 6.0 innings in the shutout. That included seven strikeouts, no walks and just the two hits. Miles was also effective at the plate going 3 for 7 in the doubleheader with a double and an RBI.
