Holton tabbed RSC Baseball Pitcher of the Week
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- J.T. Holton from IU Kokomo was picked for River States Conference Baseball Player of the Week presented by Brown & Brown Insurance for Feb. 13-19.
Holton, a sophomore from Kirklin, Ind., led the Cougars to an 11-1 win over Middle Georgia State. That was after he pitched six innings giving up only one run and striking out nine. Holton allowed only three hits and two walks in the victory. The outing salvaged a victory in the weekend series of four games.
