McDaniel snags RSC Softball Pitcher of the Week
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Maleigh McDaniel from Alice Lloyd (Ky.) College picked up a pair of wins to earn River States Conference Softball Pitcher of the Week presented by Brown & Brown Insurance for Feb. 20-26.
The Sandy Hook, Ky., native threw 11.0 shutout innings allowing just two hits across two outings on the week. She racked up 13 strikeouts and no walks going 2-0 on the week.
McDaniel got the win in 4.0 innings of a 13-0 victory over Berea (Ky.). That including six strikeouts, no walks and one hit allowed. She then had 7.0 scoreless innings in a one-hitter veresus Miami-Hamilton, a 4-0 win.
