Perez Perez named RSC Men's Tennis Player of the Week
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Jose Andres Perez Perez from Oakland City (Ind.) University was chosen as River States Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Week presented by Brown & Brown Insurance for March 6-12.
The freshman from Mexico had a couple of NAIA Top 25 battles for the No. 20-ranked Mighty Oaks. Perez Perez pulled in a pair of victories versus No. 23 McPherson with a 7-6, 6-3 win at No. 2 singles and a 6-3 victory at No. 1 doubles. He was also part of a unfished matchup in No. 1 doubles that was tied 5-5 versus No. 6 William Woods.
