Pollinger earns RSC Softball Pitcher of the Week
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Megan Pollinger from Carlow (Pa.) University is the River States Conference Softball Pitcher of the Week presented by Brown & Brown Insurance for March 13-19.
The sophomore right-hander from Coraopolis, Pa., got the win in the Celtics' 11-3 victory over WVU Tech. Pollinger threw all 5.0 innings in the contest without giving up an earned run. She struck out four and walked none and scatterred six hits. She was also 2 for 4 with double in the win.
