White named RSC Baseball Player of the Week
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Mason White from Indiana University Southeast is the River States Conference Baseball Player of the Week presented by Brown & Brown Insurance for March 20-26.
White, a junior first baseman/outfielder from Evansville, Ind., hit .444 in a 5-0 week for the Grenadiers. White was 8 for 18 with a double, triple, two homers and 10 RBIs. He also scored eight runs and walked twice.
White was 5 for 10 in a weekend sweep of Alice Lloyd (Ky.). That incluced a home run and four RBIs. The middle game of the series had White go 3 for 3 with a double, triple and two runs. White was also 3 for 8 in a sweep of two games of IUPUC. He scored four runs and drove in six on the day.
