Kammler picked for RSC Men's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Aiden Kammler from Shawnee State (Ohio) University is the River States Conference Men's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week for Jan. 15-21.
The senior distance runner from Portsmouth, Ohio, qualified for the NAIA national championship in the 3,000 meters by winning the event at teh Ottebein Invitational.
His time of 8:26.49 hit the NAIA 'A' standard to advance to nationals. It is also ranked No. 1 in the RSC and sixth in the NAIA for the event.
