Mustapha named RSC Men's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Akeem Mustapha from Point Park (Pa.) University is the River States Conference Men's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week for Jan. 15-21.
A freshman from Harrisburg, Pa., Mustapha took over the No. 1 spot in the RSC for the high jump by finishing second at Ashland. That was with a leap of 1.91 meters.
He also ranks tops in the RSC for the long jump and is second in the triple jump behind a teammate. At Ashland, he was second in the long (6.92 meters) and third in the triple (13.51 metes).
