MIDDLETOWN, Ohio - The River States Conference is pleased to announce the Player of the Week honorees for the past week.
All awards represent contests played from Monday, November 25 through Sunday, December 1.
Men's Basketball Players of the Week
Defensive Player of the Week
Shon Tupuola, St. Mary-of-the-Woods | So. - Center - Brownsburg, Indiana
Tupuola recorded three steals and three blocked shots with 13 defensive rebounds in a 76-57 road victory over Brescia to open River States Conference play. Tupuola added 11 points to record another double-double to begin the season. The Pomeroys limited Brescia to just 24.2 percent shooting and held them scoreless for nearly nine minutes of game time en route to a 21-0 early lead.
Offensive Player of the Week
Greg Jenkins, St. Mary-of-the-Woods | Sr. - Guard - Indianapolis, Indiana
Jenkins led the Pomeroys to a 76-57 road win over Brescia in the River States Conference opener by scoring 27 points and pulling down 14 rebounds. The senior guard hit 11-of-16 shots from the field including a pair of a 3-pointers, adding five assists and one blocked shot in the victory.

Defensive Player of the Week
Jenna Krampe, Brescia | Fr. - Guard - Owensboro, Kentucky
Krampe came up big this past week for the Bearcats as she tallied three career highs. She was the leading rebounder in the Bearcats' first conference match with 15, had a team high of 16 points against Union, and led BU with five steals in the same contest. She averaged 72% from the field and 83% from the line.
Offensive Player of the Week
Markayla Holland, Shawnee State | Jr. - Guard - Waterford, Michigan
Holland was dynamic throughout a 2-0 weekend at 'The Show' in Kingsport, Tenn. -- with the 5-10 guard/forward averaging 24.5 points, four steals, 3.5 rebounds and a block per game on 47.1 percent shooting for the week. In 2024-25, Holland is averaging 19.8 points, 6.2 rebounds and 2.8 assists on 47.4 percent shooting and a 76.5 percent clip from the charity stripe.
