Clark selected RSC Baseball Pitcher of the Week
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Owen Clark from Midway (Ky.) University is the River States Conference Baseball Pitcher of the Week for Feb. 19-25.
A junior left-hander, Clark had a great outing in a victory over Siena Heights (Mich.) on Sunday. In a 10-0 victory, Clark went 5.0 innings striking out 10 and walking two. He blanked SHU for no runs and only one hit.
Clark took a no-hitter into the fifth inning before a base hit broke it up. He had allowed just three base runners to that point in the game. He handed a 3-0 lead over to the offense and the bullpen.
