Blatnik claims RSC Men's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Jakob Blatnik from Point Park (Pa.) University is the River States Conference Men's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week for March 11-18.
Blatnik, from Slovenia, qualified for NAIA outdoor nationals in the javelin with his performance at the UNC-Charlotte 49er Classic. He placed seventh at the NCAA Division I meet tossing 58.05 meters to achieve the NAIA A standard.
