Schafer picked for RSC Baseball Pitcher of the Week
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Luke Schafer from Indiana University Southeast is the River States Conference Baseball Pitcher of the Week for March 18-24.
Schafer, a senior right-hander from Leawood, Kan., threw 7.0 innings in a 13-1 win over Midway (Ky.). That included nine strikeouts and just two walks.
Scharfer allowed only three hits and one run in the outing for an 1.29 ERA on the week. It was a complete game to propel the Grenadiers to the series victory.
