Krause named RSC Softball Player of the Week
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Lyric Krause from St. Mary-of-the-Woods (Ind.) College is the River States Conference Softball Player of the Week for April 8-14.
Krause, a first baseman from West Terre Haute, Ind., hit .400 on the week batting 4 for 10 over four games. The Pomeroys went 3-1 on the week with Krause putting up two homers, seven RBIs, three runs and two walks.
She keyed a doubleheader sweep of Midway (Ky.) hitting a pair of -three-run homers in victories of 6-2 and 3-0 over the Eagles. She also was 1 for 3 with an RBI ina 10-1 win over IU Southeast stroking two hits in that series.
