McDaniel pulls in RSC Softball Player of the Week
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Maleigh McDaniel from Alice Lloyd (Ky.) College is the River States Conference Softball Player of the Week for March 25-31.
McDaniel, a junior from Sandy Hook, Ky., hit .650 on the week going 13 for 20 at the plate. She scored six runs, drove in six and was also 6 for 6 in stolen bases.
She was 4 for 4 with three RBIs to salvage a split versus WVU Tech. McDaniel put up four hits in a split doubleheader versus Brescia (Ky.). Despite another four hits versus Oakland City (Ind.), the Eagles dropped both contests.
