Byrum picked for RSC Women's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Emma Byrum from Indiana University Kokomo is the River States Conference Women's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week.
The senior from Kokomo, Ind., won the javelin at the Indiana Little State Championships. She threw 41.83 meters. This hit the NAIA A qualifying standard for nationals.
Byrum is ranked sixth in the NAIA and first in the RSC with this school record.
