Shipley picked for RSC Softball Player of the Week
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Madison Shipley from Oakland City (Ind.) University is the River States Conference Softball Player of the Week for April 22-28.
Shipley, an infielder and pitcher, hit .583 on the week going 7 for 12 in four games. The Mighty Oaks won all four games in the final week of the RSC regular season. She scored four runs and drove in nine.
Shipley had two doubles and three RBIs in a doubleheader sweep of St. Mary-of-the-Woods (Ind.). She then went 5 for 6 with a double, homer and six RBIs in the two games weep of IUPUC.
