Clark picked for RSC Baseball Pitcher of the Week
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Ridge Clark from Ohio Christian University is the River States Conference Baseball Pitcher of the Week for April 22-28.
The senior from Vermilion, Ohio, was the key relief pitcher in the RSC Championship Opening Round victory over Midway (Ky.). He earned a win and a save -- both in relief -- as the Trailblazers won the final two games.
Clark pitched 5.1 shutouts innings with OCU facing elimination in Game 2. The Trailblazers won the game 7-6 with Clark allowing just three hits. He then pitched the final 2.2 innings scoreless on one hit to secure the final game, 11-5, and earn the save.
