OXFORD, Ohio - The River States Conference is pleased to announce the Player of the Week honorees for the past week.
All awards represent contests played from Monday, December 15 through Sunday, December 21.

Offensive Player of the Week
D'Amare Hood, Oakland City | So. - Guard - Muncie, Indiana
Hood was sensational in Oakland City's victory on Friday against St. Ambrose. The sophomore guard poured in 34 points, and made it a double-double with 12 rebounds. He also added five steals and three assists in an 85-67 victory over the Bees.
Defensive Player of the Week
Trent Hinkle, IU Southeast | So. - Guard - Louisville, Kentucky
The point guard played above his height this week, grabbing 14 rebounds while also adding 4 steals in a pair of games. Hinkle logged seven rebounds each in games against Lindsey Wilson and Kentucky Wesleyan, recording three of his four steals in an 87-75 win over Lindsey Wilson.

Offensive Player of the Week
Taylor Farris, IU East | Jr. - Guard - Oxford, Ohio
Taylor Farris scored 32 points and had five assists to go along with four rebounds to help the Red Wolves defeat IU South Bend on Saturday. The junior guard made eleven of her 17 shots, and was a blistering five-for-seven from three-point territory in a narrow victory over IU South Bend.

Abby Fleetwood, IU Columbus | Jr. - Forward - Trafalgar, Indiana
Abby Fleetwood set the tone defensively, averaging 12.5 rebounds and 5.5 steals per game, consistently disrupting opponents and controlling the glass. Her ability to create extra possessions and guard multiple positions made her the most impactful defender on the floor. She also added 20.5 points per game, impacting the game on both ends.
