MIDDLETOWN, Ohio - The River States Conference is pleased to announce the Player of the Week honorees for the past week.
All awards represent contests played from Monday, March 3 through Sunday, March 9.
Men's Volleyball Players of the Week
Attacker of the Week
Daniel Bedoya, Rio Grande| Sr. - Opposite Hitter - Acacias, Columbia
Bedoya played a key role for the RedStorm, who earned a pair of decisive conference victories over IU East and Midway. The Colombian senior pounded 14 kills in three sets on Friday against IU East, then added another ten kills in a Saturday win over Midway, another three-set sweep.
Setter of the Week
Finn Heinemann, Georgetown | Sr. - Setter - Paderborn, Germany
Heinemann averaged more than 12 assists per set as Georgetown remained undefeated in conference play with wins over Brescia and St. Mary-of-the-Woods. The German senior logged 34 assists in three sets against Brescia on Friday, then posted 39 assists in three sets against SMWC on Saturday, with both games coming on the road.
Defender of the Week
Pedro Zavatini, Campbellsville | So. - Middle Blocker - Itajai, Brazil
Zavatini was a force at the net this past week, which saw the Tigers go 3-1 with a conference win over Brescia and a 2-1 record in the team's trip to Florida. Zavatini racked up 17 total blocks on the week, including six against Governors State and another five against St. Thomas. The sophomore also added 33 kills from the middle blocker position.

Player of the Week
Carson McNulty, IU Columbus | Jr. - Infielder - North Vernon, Indiana
McNulty drove in at least one run and had four multi-hit games in IU Columbus' five games this week. The Crimson Pride went 4-1 on the week, including a series victory over WVU Tech. The junior finished the week with ten hits in 19 at-bats, driving in nine runs and scoring four more.
Pitcher of the Week
Mick Uebelhor, Oakland City | So. - Pitcher - Huntingburg, Indiana
Uebelhor dominated in his first conference start of the season, tossing seven innings in Oakland City's 11-1 win over Brescia, part of the RSC Series of the Week. The sophomore struck out eleven hitters without surrendering a walk, picking up a complete game victory to help the Mighty Oaks sweep the Bearcats and start 3-0 in conference play.
Softball Players of the Week
Player of the Week
Olivia Barnett, WVU Tech | Jr. - Infielder - Shady Spring, West Virginia
In four conference games this week, Barnett logged nine total hits as the Golden Bears posted a 2-2 record. The junior infielder went 9-for-14 on the week, a total that included three triples and two home runs, with both home runs coming in a 6-4 win over Oakland City. Barnett scored six runs on the week, and drove in another nine for the Golden Bears.
Pitcher of the Week
Emma Davis, IU Southeast | So. - Pitcher - Loogootee, Indiana
Davis was the model of consistency in the first week of RSC play, tossing four complete games and picking up four wins for the Grenadiers. The sophomore allowed less than one hit per inning, logging a 1.96 earned run average across 25 innings of work. Davis struck out 20 hitters and walked just seven in her four outings, which featured wins over Lindsey Wilson, Brescia, IU Columbus, and St. Mary-of-the-Woods.

Men's Tennis Player of the Week
German Collado | Sr. - Madrid, Spain
German Collado has yet to drop a set to start the spring season, putting together a combined 6-0 record between singles and doubles. He was victorious at the fourth singles flight in matches against Tennessee Southern and Blue Mountain, and added a pair of doubles wins - at the first flight against Blue Mountain and the second against Tennessee Southern.
Women's Tennis Player of the Week
Isabela Todorovic, Oakland City | Sr. - Dorsten, Germany
Todorovic helped lead Oakland City to their fifth straight victory, with three of those wins coming against nationally recognized competition. The German senior swept her matches in Oakland City's victory against Missouri Baptist, then did the same at the fourth singles and second doubles flight against Ottawa.
