OXFORD, Ohio- The River States Conference is pleased to announce the selections for the 2026 River States Conference Men's Volleyball All-Conference Teams.
Each team consists of nine players, consistent with the All-America teams that will be announced next month by the NAIA. The third team features ten players due to a tie. The teams are selected via a vote of conference head coaches. Individual awards will be announced by the conference office on Thursday.
After winning their first River States Conference regular season title, the Tigers of Campbellsville University led all schools with six total All-Conference selections, including four on the first team. Runner-up Georgetown College had five players selected, with two making the top team. Both Oakland City University and Cumberland University had four selections, with two Mighty Oaks and one Phoenix on the first team list.
The Pomeroys of St. Mary-of-the-Woods College had three overall selections, as did the Bearcats of Brescia University. The Rio Grande RedStorm added two players, with the Red Wolves of Indiana University East rounding things out with one selection.
Additionally, the RSC is also proud to announce the athletes recognized as their program's Champion of Character. Each team in each River States Conference sponsored sport is asked to nominate one athlete as their Champion of Character. These student-athletes best represent the NAIA’s Champions of Character program and its five core values of Respect, Responsibility, Integrity, Servant Leadership and Sportsmanship.
The 2026 River States Conference Tournament began Tuesday night, with third-seeded Oakland City and fifth-seeded Cumberland earning victories. The Phoenix will face top-seeded Campbellsville, the host school, in the first of Friday's semifinals, with the Mighty Oaks facing second-seeded Georgetown in the nightcap.
