River States Players of the Week - February 16-22, 2026

OXFORD, Ohio - The River States Conference is pleased to announce the Player of the Week honorees for the past week.

All awards represent contests played from Monday, February 16 through Sunday, February 22.

Men's Basketball Players of the Week

Offensive Player of the Week
Delon McCloud, Rio Grande | Sr. - Guard - Grand Rapids, Michigan
McCloud closed out the regular season with a bang, scoring a career-best 41 points in win over Kentucky Christian on Saturday. He also added 18 points and seven rebounds in a Tuesday win over IU East, helping the RedStorm clinch a first round home game in the RSC Tournament.

Defensive Player of the Week
Jaylin Fox, Rio Grande | Sr. - Guard - South Haven, Michigan
Fox averaged six defensive rebounds, two steals, and a block and a half per game in a pair of blowout wins for Rio Grande. He averaged 7.5 total rebounds for the week off the bench, and aided in Rio Grande finishing alone in second place in the East Division.

Women's Basketball Players of the Week

Offensive Player of the Week
Alyssa Baker, Rio Grande | Fr. - Guard - Marietta, Ohio
Baker had a breakout week in the final two games of the regular season. Entering the week averaging 4.4 points per game, the freshman scored 33 points in a win over IU East, knocking down eleven three-pointers. She then added 14 more points against KCU, finishing the week with 23.5 points per game.

Defensive Player of the Week
Abby Fleetwood, IU Columbus | Jr. - Guard/Forward - Trafalgar, Indiana
Fleetwood had a career game defensively on Saturday against St. Mary-of-the-Woods, grabbing eight steals. The junior never came off the floor in the regular season finale, pulling down six rebounds and blocking three shots to go with her eight steals.

Men's Volleyball Players of the Week

Attacker of the Week
Joao Infante, Cumberland | Sr. - Outside Hitter - Lisbon, Portugal
Infante had a monster match against SMWC. The Portugal native set not only a career-high, but a program-high in kills in a single game firing 36 on a .475 hit percentage in a five-set thriller against the Pomeroys. 

Setter of the Week
Austin Kuehler, Cumberland | Fr. - Setter - Surprise, Arizona
Keuhler dished out a career-high 64 assists in a tough five-set loss to St. Mary-of-the-Woods on Saturday. He averaged 12.80 assists per set and added seven digs and one block for the Phoenix. 

Defender of the Week
Lincoln Anderson, Midway | So. - Libero - Louisville, Kentucky
Anderson had 20 digs in Midway's first win of the season, a 3-2 victory over Franklin on Saturday. He recorded double digit digs in all three of Midway's games this week, averaging more than three per set.

Baseball Players of the Week

Player of the Week
Taylor Voorhees, Midway | Jr. - Infield - St. Joseph, Illinois
Voorhees had a monster week with a .545 average and nine RBIs across three games, including a 4-for-4, 5 RBI game in a 16-15 10-inning win over Siena Heights Friday. He accounted for 12 runs in Midway's three game sweep of Siena Heights.

Pitcher of the Week
Jake Gothrup, IU Southeast | Jr. - Pitcher - Lafayette, Indiana
Gothrup shut down Faulkner out of the bullpen on Saturday, tossing five scoreless innings and earning the save in a 6-4 win for the Grenadiers. The junior struck out nine Faulkner hitters without surrendering a hit en route to an almost unheard of five-inning save.

Softball Players of the Week

Player of the Week
Macy Kise, Rio Grande | Fr. - Infield - Milford Center, Ohio
Kise gave new meaning to cleanup hitter with eleven runs batted in in a sweep of Defiance - six in game one and five more in game two. She added four more RBI in sweep of Bluefield, with two in each contest to finish the week with 15 RBIs. She also got a win as a pitcher against Bluefield, striking out nine hitters in four innings.

Pitcher of the Week
Emma Davis, IU Southeast | So. - Pitcher - Loogootee, Indiana
Davis was sensational during IU Southeast's doubleheader sweep of IU South Bend, tossing 8.1 scoreless innings. The sophomore righty earned the win in both games of the twinbill, logging 3.1 innings in game one before a five-inning complete game in game two.
