MIDDLETOWN, Ohio- The River States Conference is pleased to announce the selections for the 2025 River States Conference Men's Volleyball All-Conference Teams.
Each team consists of nine players, consistent with the All-America teams that will be announced next month by the NAIA. The teams are selected via a vote of conference head coaches. Individual awards will be announced by the conference office on Thursday.
The top two teams in the conference standings dominated the All-Conference teams, with both Georgetown and Campbellsville placing seven players on the All-Conference teams. The defending national champions and 2025 regular season champions from Georgetown placed three on the first team, three more on the second, and one on the third, while regular season runner-up Campbellsville had two first teamers, three second teamers, and two third teamers.
The first team was rounded out by two players each from Rio Grande and Cumberland, the two teams that hosted quarterfinal matches on Tuesday. St. Mary-of-the-Woods was third in the conference with four total selections, while Cumberland and Oakland City both had three. Rio Grande had two selections, both on the first team, and IU East rounded out the selections with a third team pick.
The 2025 River States Conference Tournament began Tuesday night, as St. Mary-of-the-Woods and Cumberland moved on to the semifinals. The Pomeroys defeated Rio Grande in four sets, while Cumberland knocked off Brescia in four sets. Rio Grande will take on host Georgetown in the opening game of Friday's final four, with a matchup between Cumberland and second-seeded Campbellsville serving as the nightcap.
